Sophie Delebecque

Sophie Delebecque

My name is Sophie Delebecque, I am  French  and I have been living in the north of Sweden since September 2018.
I studied veterinarian at the National Veterinary School of Toulouse, in the south of France.
I started by working  in a small clinic near Bordeaux ; then I set up my own business in January 2005. For 5 years I only looked after horses, doing only home consultations ; then I opened a practice to be able to take care again of dogs and cats. This practice was located in a small town, in the countryside. We were 2 vets and a nurse working there, and we looked after all kinds of animals, including exotic animals because we were working with a zoo.

During these years, I had the opportunity  to train myself in acupuncutre, osteopathy and equine ethology.

In January 2018, I decided to stop my veterinary activity and to  take a year to do something else. And I came to spend a winter season in a tourism company that works with sled dogs in Västerbotten.
I liked Lapland, its nature, and its tranquility : so I decided to stay there !

Anne Roth

My name is Anne Roth, I was born in Germany and grew up in Austria. I always wanted to be a veterinarian and so I studied veterinary medicin in Vienna from 1982 – 1989. After three years internship at a clinic for small animals and horses I started my own clinic 1992 in Salzburg/Austria. I did my Master of Science in  Wild Animal Health at London University in 2001/2002 and worked as a veterinarian and curator for Zoo Salzburg 2003 and 2004. I am a trained behavioural therapist for dogs and cats (2002). I sold my clinic in 2018 and emigrated to Sweden.

I always lived with  pets (cats, dogs, birds, guinea pigs…). Two of my dogs were trained rescue dogs and we  were on assignment after earthquakes in Italy resp. Turkey.
Every life is precious !
